Handcrafted Excellence

This strap is made from premium top‑grain vegetable‑tanned leather, prized for its high density and rich natural oils. The edges are finished by hand using a traditional burnishing process: we sand the leather, apply a specialised treatment, and polish repeatedly until the edges develop a natural, glossy sheen. This is not a chemical edge‑paint – it’s the result of pure manual labour. Each strap takes about 50 minutes of dedicated hand‑rubbing and polishing to achieve its distinctive, smooth finish.

Important Note on Natural Leather

As with all genuine top‑grain leather, the material may bear natural marks – scars, wrinkles, grain variations, or minor blemishes – that occur during the animal’s life. Some slight imperfections may also appear during the handcrafting process. These are not defects; they are the very characteristics that make each piece unique and celebrate the beauty of natural vegetable‑tanned leather and handmade craftsmanship.
